Come to the women's retreats and learn where to find contentment and purpose.  Fellowship with women facing similar life challenges.  Its a time of mentoring and healing, of laughing and sitting back  and realizing, "I can do this!"  Spend a faith-renewing, invigorating weekend among friends!  Learn, inquire, share, grow during this retreat designed for adult women.  Thematic study sessions will be held throughout the weekend.

Phyllis Wallace is the originator and host of the “Woman to Woman” radio talk show of Lutheran Hour Ministries, Phyllis also initiated the Camp Arcadia Women's retreat in '97.  Her upbeat and candidly refreshing enthusiasm for being a “Free Woman” brings both laughter and tears as she shares how the Truth sets us free.

Dick Swenson is a full time futurist, physician-researcher, author, and educator with a compelling way of explaining you and God's plans for you!Ê His six books include the best-selling “Margin: Restoring Emotional, Physical, Financial, and Time Reserves to Overloaded Lives” and “The Overload: Learning to Live within Your Limits”, both award-winning.  Dr. Swenson and his wife, Linda, live in Menomonie, Wisconsin. They have two sons and two grandchildren.

Elise Arndt is Director of Women's Ministries at Faith Lutheran Church in Troy, MI, retreats with us on ”Sacred Moments” -- times set aside by the Holy Spirit to reveal the longing of God’s heart toward us through His Word. Learn how to read God's Word as an act of worship and then respond to what you have read with prayer and a life fully devoted to Jesus.  Elise draws on her life experience as a Bible study leader, author, Christian activist and the wife of Rev. Warren Arndt.  They served on the New Guinea mission field, parented 5 children and now grandparent 11.

Dress for the weekend is casual -- this is your time to unwind and leave your daily routine behind.  Please arrange to have all children and spouses cared for at home.  We will conduct our own Sunday morning worship, so leave heels and hose at home, too!  Guests will want a sweatshirt or jacket for evenings; jeans or shorts for daytime activities.  Don't forget to bring your suit for sunning or swimming.

Cost for the weekend: $140 with lodging, $85 commuter
