How to Register This page will give you information about the registration process for the various types of weeks and weekend retreats at Camp Arcadia.
These weeks usually fill each January during the annual reservation drawing process. Although groups and individuals are accommodated each year after the January drawing, if you are registering after the drawing deadline please call the office to check on availability before mailing your form. Reservations may be made by completing the reservation form (available by download or through mail from Camp Arcadia) using the instructions below. If you are mailing before the January 10, 2008 postmark deadline: Then follow these directions, if after, skip to below: There are three categories of reservations for these weeks: Category A - single person or single family unit (family at one mailing address); Category B - combination of persons up to 20 wishing to come the same week: and Category C - any combination of persons numbering 21 through 35 wishing to come the same week. Groups larger than 35 people cannot be accommodated. 1. Mail your completed reservation form(s) with deposit to Camp in a single envelope, postmarked on or before January 10. Reservations may be submitted with your deposit any time between December 1 and January 10. 2. Each family unit (family at one mailing address) must complete a reservation form. Reservation forms may be photocopied as needed. Each family unit should staple its own deposit to the reservation form, checks are preferred. 3. Group reservations (categories B and C) must be submitted in a single envelope, specify an alternate week if possible, and designate one contact person who, in turn, will contact all others in the group should further communication be necessary. 4. Reservations will be randomly drawn and filled in rotation: one envelope from Category A; one from B; one from C; then one A, one B, one A, one B, ... Only one C will be selected each week unless there are sufficient vacancies. 6. Forms must be postmarked NO LATER than January 10, 2008 to be part of the annual room drawing. If your family or group is not accommodated during the drawing process, your entire deposit will be returned to you. If you are mailing your registration form after the January 10 postmark date, then follow these directions: 1. Call or email the Camp office to see is there are vacancies in the week you hope to attend. 2. Each family unit (family at one mailing address) must complete a reservation form. Reservation forms may be photocopied as needed. Each family unit should staple its own deposit to the reservation form, checks are preferred. 3. To register for this week, simply complete the Golf & the Gospel reservation form (available by request from Camp or by download) and send it with your deposit to the Camp. The registration fee does not include the greens fees for the week. Reservations for this week are accepted through the spring of 2007. Golfers are mailed additional information in the spring that allows them to sign up to play particular courses. back to top
To register for this week return your Teen Week registration form and your non-refundable $90 deposit to Camp Arcadia. Generally this week fills within a month or two, so please sign up quickly to improve your chances of getting a space for this week. In 2007, we still had space for this week until late spring.

Those who attended a teen retreat previously were mailed a teen brochure in early February 2008. To register for this week return your Teen Week registration form and your non-refundable $80 deposit to Camp Arcadia as soon as possible. Because this week fills quickly, mail your registration form back to Camp Arcadia promptly. Deposit money of those who are not accommodated because of lack of space will be returned by early March.
Teens for the 9th-11th Grade Retreat will not be notified that they were granted a spot in the week until early March 2008.

To register for Labor Day Weekend, complete the Family Week registration form and return it with your deposit to Camp Arcadia. Generally, Camp Arcadia continues to accept registrations for this weekend throughout the summer. Note that the Labor Day Weekend starts on Friday afternoon which is a day earlier than in previous years. Guests leave on Monday morning. back to top
Specialty Weekends (LLL Men's Retreat & Women's Retreat)
To register for these weekends, complete the specific registration form for that weekend and return it with your deposit to Camp Arcadia. Generally, Camp Arcadia continues to accept registrations for these weekends throughout the summer. back to top
Early Registration for 2009 - for LCA Members Only Early Registration for the 2009 season begins October 1, 2008 and continues until November 1, 2008. Lifetime members of the Lutheran Camp Association (LCA) are eligible to early register for the next season by delivering your early registration form to the Camp office in one of the following ways: · By Mail - PO Box 229, Arcadia, MI 49613 · By fax - 231.889.4140 · In person at the Camp office Weeks fill up quickly. Make arrangements early to increase your chances of getting the week you would like. In an effort to best serve you, please do not call or e-mail your early registration requests. Please review the following early registration guidelines: · Each nuclear family (living at the same address) must be a Lifetime LCA member and must submit a joint reservation form. · Multiple families may register together as a group if ALL the families are Lifetime LCA members. · One member of the LCA may not reserve space for non-LCA members (parents, children, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, cats and dogs) under the umbrella of their membership. · The standard 30% deposit is payable at the time of registration (checks are preferred). · The Camp’s cancellation policy applies to this program. If you cancel, half your minimum deposit will be refunded if we are advised more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. There is no refund if cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. · Please understand that Camp Arcadia will make every effort to accommodate your choice of week and housing preference as marked on the registration forms. However, consideration is given to the number of family members, bed space and health needs. Your advance registration, regardless of the order in which it is received, does not guarantee a particular lodging assignment (i.e., we cannot guarantee that you will receive a cottage, room with a private bath, or lakeside room) but only guarantees that a space is reserved for you at Camp Arcadia. Actual rooming assignments will not be made until January of 2009. · Half of the total bed space for each week is available for early registrations. · Early Registration will end when a week is half full, or November 1, 2008 if a week is not full. · Any Lifetime LCA member who does not “get in” during Early Registration can still be a part of the annual room drawing in January. · There is no waiting list for early registrations.
