2008 CAMP ARCADIA RATES

Camp Arcadia bases rates per person. The rates shown in the first table below are assessed to all Camp guests. If guests choose to lodge in either Private Bath Inn Rooms or Camp Cottages, a housing surcharge is applied to the group staying in that lodging unit. Please read the camp cancellation policy.

Rates are for periods specified and include lodging in the Inn, three meals daily, activity fee and use of all facilities. Check-in time is after 3:30 pm on the arrival date. Check out time is before 10:00 a.m. on the departure date. Your confirmation letter may contain additional details or different check-in times. Ages of children are to be calculated based upon their age during the vacation.

Optional Housing & Costs (Cottages and Private Bath Inn Rooms)

In addition to Camp's 40 room Inn, guests may choose to stay in an Inn room with a private bathroom or one of five Camp Cottages. There are four second-floor rooms available in the Inn with private bathrooms. The Camp cottages are located a block from the central Camp area.

Add the below surcharge to your total bill (surcharge is shared by all occupants) if you choose an Inn room with a private bath or a cottage.

Some examples of calculating the cost of staying in a cottage or private bath Inn room:

- two adults attending Lutherhostel and staying in a private bath Inn room
             => two (2) adults x $400 + $205 = $1,005.

- a family attending Labor Day Weekend and staying in Spruce Cottage
             => two (2) adults x $160 + two (2) kids [age 7 and 9] x $90 + $130 = $630

Inn rooms with private bathrooms are second floor only.

Camp Cottages are located about one block from Camp. Cottages are not handicap accessible.

Additional Information about the Camp cottages

Cottage guests have access to their cottage kitchenette, dining area, living area, and private bathroom space in each cottage. Linens are provided, as well as fresh towels daily. Cottage guests eat all meals in the Inn dining room.

Bedding, bath towels and soap are furnished; bring your own washcloths, hand towels and beach towels. The cottage kitchen has dishwashing soap and towels, limited cooking and eating utensils, a small refrigerator and range. Bathroom cleaning supplies are provided. Cottages do not have a telephone, radio or TV. They do have heat.

Sleeps 2-4.
One bedroom: One double bed.
A double sleep-sofa in the living room. Bathroom has shower stall.

Birch Cottage

Sleeps 8-10.

Bedroom One: One queen bed.

Bedroom Two: One double bed, two bunk beds. Space for a crib or cot.

A double sleep-sofa in living room. Bathroom has shower stall.

Cedar Cottage

Sleeps 6-8.

Bedroom One: One queen bed.

Bedroom Two: One double bed, one bunk bed. Space for a crib or cot.

A double sleep-sofa in living room. Bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

Spruce Cottage

Sleeps 6-8.

Bedroom One: One queen bed.

Bedroom Two: One double bed, one bunk bed.

Juniper Cottage

Sleeps 16-18.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy
A deposit of 30% of your total bill is required with most reservations. In the event of cancellation, half your minimum deposit will be refunded if we are advised more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. There will be no refund if cancellation occurs less than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date. Deposits for teen weeks, women's, men's, and Marriage Encounter retreats are non-refundable.
