Employment at Camp Arcadia

Working on staff at Camp Arcadia is extremely rewarding.  You lodge, eat, work, and play  in an intentional Christian community with many other people who are at Camp to provide Christ-like service to our guests.  Experiences are filled with unexpected adventures, friendships, revelations, blessings, and challenges.

There are 3 types of employment positions available at Camp Arcadia.

1. Summer Staff - Approximately 36 people who work from Memorial Day through mid-August.  Positions include kitchen, housekeeping, program, office, Trading Post, craft shop, nature, assistant caretaker, and archives & media.  The application priority date is February 8th. 

2. Teen Week Counselors - Approximately 30 adult counselors for our week-long teen weeks (8th Grade Retreat: June 7 - 14 and the H.S. Retreat June 14 - June 21).  Counselors work for one week periods. Counselors work with groups of  8-10 teens.  The application priority date is February 8th.  

3. End-of-Season Staff - Approximately 30 people ranging in age from teens to retired  work mid-August to September/October. Workers usually stay between one and four weeks.  Positions include kitchen, housekeeping, program, & office.  We start accepting applications in January.
